Acumatica Summit 2022 – Day 2 Keynotes

Las Vegas, January 25, 2022, Acumatica Summit 2022 was packed with exciting announcements from product updates to new integrations – all improving the already powerful cloud ERP solution.  

At Acumatica Summit Day 2 was an audience of more than 2,000 customers, partners, media, and analyst attendees.  

Sanket Akerkar, Chief Revenue Officer opened Acumatica Summit Day 2. He delivered a speech about a structured approach to learning at Acumatica Open University. He congratulated Haylee Hicks, who shared her experience as a member of the community and she received the MVP award.

Ali Jani, Chief Product Officer highlighted the power of choice, and how Acumatica enables businesses to digitally transform and increase their resiliency and agility. 

“Building an agile business has been a strategic component of a company’s digital transformation journey for years, but it has grown in importance as organisations tackle the uncertainty of a global pandemic, climate change goals, and international supply chain shortages. Agility has become critical for business success and survival – enabling companies to forge through disruption and emerge savvier on the other side. Companies can leverage Acumatica’s innovative platform to modernise analogue processes and remain on the cutting edge.” – said Jain. 

Ajoy Krishnamoorthy, EVP Product Management and Strategy Officer highlighted three themes in 2022 R1:  

  • Automobile Work smart on the go. 
  • Earth globe Americas Unlock global markets. 
  • Electric light bulb Go broad & deep with industry-leading capabilities.

Ajoy, also emphasised that Acumatica will launch a Global Financials Module as part of its ongoing success in serving the global market. The new module will allow multinational companies to conduct business in multiple base currencies.  

Why do these updates in 2022 R1 matter?   

Doug Johnson, VP Product Management demonstrated 2022 R1 product features. He introduced the ability to have a parent state – which assists with the emphasis on no-code/low code capabilities for the customers, new look and feel for mobile applications including KPIs at the top of the screen, and leverage AI and ML to spot potential transactions before release. 

  

Debbie Baldwin, Director of Product Management for manufacturing introduced a look at new manufacturing dashboards in 2022 R1. 

Joel Hoffman, Sr. Manager of the Construction Product Management spoke about how to simplify processes and streamline workflows in construction. 

Debra Mignola, Director of Product Management Distribution, introduced a new feature in 2021 R1 – Blanket Sales Orders in Acumatica.  

Josh Fisher, Sr Manager Retail, spoke about Retail-Commerce enhancements. He introduced Amazon Connector, a new native integration with Amazon. Amazon Merchants who sell on Amazon via Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) and Fulfilled By Merchant (FBM) can leverage Acumatica’s commerce-enabled ERP to seamlessly integrate with Amazon via the brand new Selling Partner API.  

Acumatica’s new native integration retrieves orders as they happen and keeps inventory levels up to date on Amazon’s marketplace. 

Josh also congratulated the company Kill Cliff as Retail-Commerce Customer of the year.  

Michael Shechelkonogov, Chief Technology Officer spoke about the top three priorities of the engineering team.  

  • Modernising the platform. 
  • Improving data insights. 
  • User experience. 

 At the final stage of Acumatica Summit, Ajoy Krishnamoorthy introduced UiPath Connector. Customers can boost productivity by easily automating repetitive tasks with UiPath. By using UiPath’s RPA technology and the new Acumatica connector, customers can eliminate mundane tasks and gain productivity.
