06 Mar Jon Roskill joins Acumatica as CEO
Jon Roskill, the former vice president of Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Group, has been hired as the new CEO of Acumatica.
He writes, “The Acumatica opportunity is too good to pass. I’m excited to join as CEO for three very simple reasons:
Firstly, this is a US$60-billion market that is growing. ERP, at its core, helps people run their businesses, and run them more efficiently, more creatively, and more “insert-your-own-adjective.” Even if you can capture one percent of this market, that’s US$600 million.
Secondly, it’s time to shake up the business management software marketplace. Clearly, we are going through a technology paradigm shift. Whenever there is such a transition, there are winners and there are losers. Acumatica, built from the ground up for the Cloud, is a natural disruptor.
Lastly, but no less important, is the channel. As a long-time channel builder, I’m especially passionate about Acumatica’s 100-percent commitment to going to market with and through its partners.
I am excited to join Acumatica. This is only my first week here, but I’m energized by the visionary product roadmap, the partner enthusiasm I see, and the employee passion I feel.
I am excited to join Acumatica and I invite you to join too. Whether you’re selling SAGE, implementing Dynamics, supporting SAP, or simply an entrepreneur considering starting an ERP practice in the Cloud, this is your open invitation to join me and the best partner program in the ERP software industry.
Welcome to your future.”
